Journey Lockets, LLC is a small business owned and operated solely by Jocelyn Drye. Jocelyn is a mother of 2 young daughters, Madelyn & Ava. Their 2 sweet faces are what led to her inspiration to begin Journey Lockets in 2008.
Jocelyn founded the Journey Lockets™ concept and brand. The JL Signature Collection was designed by Jocelyn in 2011 and is being manufactured exclusively for Journey Lockets, LLC on the gorgeous island of Bali.
The Journey Lockets™ jewelry collections are made from sterling silver and gold vermeil and each piece features a glass locket that is personalized using photographs (included with the purchase). Monograms, special quotes, and many more ideas for custom inserts are also available. Journey Lockets are available to purchase at shopjourneylockets.com, at our lovely retail stores, and also at seasonal shows. Many times, Jocelyn offers on-site personalization at the shows.
Currently there are 7 lockets styles to choose from and are offered in sterling silver, and gold vermeil finishes. More finishes and design styles are in development and scheduled to launch in 2012. Jewelry price points range from $39-$464. Custom locket inserts are available starting at $5 and range up to $18.

About Jocelyn Drye

Jocelyn Drye, creator of the Journey Lockets brand and designer of the JL Signature Jewelry Collection, was born and raised in central NC. She attended Appalachian State University in the beautiful NC Mountains for her first 2 years of college, graduating in 1999 from the University at North Carolina- Chapel Hill with a degree in Interpersonal Communication. She is married to Josh, her college sweetheart, and they have been blessed with 2 wonderful daughters, Madelyn & Ava.
Jocelyn spent her first 4 years after college working as a graphic/web/multimedia designer at Elon University. When her first daughter, Maddy, was born, she chose to become a stay at home mom. Wanting to spend time with her children, but still needing a way to express her creativity, led Jocelyn to the creation of a business of her own. With her first company, JD DESIGNS, Jocelyn designed and produced fabric handbags and luggage. The bags were sold in stores from 2004 until 2010. In 2008, she added the Journey Lockets line to her bag offerings. The Journey Locket line became such a big hit that she decided to focus more energy on the jewelry and phase out her handbag and luggage lines. By 2011 Jocelyn was able to design and have manufactured her own signature collection of glass lockets and jewelry produced exclusively for Journey Lockets.
Jocelyn is often jokingly referred to as "Martha Stewart" by her friends. She has always been creative and loves many art forms, including drawing, painting, photography, and sewing. She draws her creative inspiration from the little things that resonate in everyday life. She believes that the most important words to live by are "trust your gut", "stay true to who you are", and "celebrate your journey!" |
